Mama and Daddy's Night Out

Once a month, Coach and Mick have offered to burn up I35 to Austin and watch Clay so Mama and Daddy can have a night out. Considering that Mama and Daddy never leave Clay any other time, this is quite the treat...for both Mama and Daddy and Clay! Thank you Coach and Mick!!!

About to tell Coach and Mick some"stordies" (stories), as Clay calls them. This is a game that Daddy started before bedtime. We all huddle under the covers and Clay turns on the flashlight while Daddy tells "stordies." If you ask Clay what the story should be about he will always say, "bears." And, when you ask him what color the bear is, he will always say, "back" (black).

Not missing Mama and Daddy AT ALL!

As you all know, Clay loves "Dada's toos" (tools) and lately has taken a special liking to the measuring tape. This is a game that Coach invented.

I would say he loved this game!

All the while, Mama and Daddy were enjoying a "very grown" up dinner at Z Tejas! Yummy!
