Letter of the Week...B!

I haven't posted a Letter of the Week in a while...so here goes!

Proud Parent Pause: Thanks to our Letter of the Week activities; alphabet books, letters, and puzzles; sidewalk chalk activities; Starfall on the computer; and Mama constantly pointing out letters in our everyday life...I am now pleased to report that big guy can identify all of the letters of the alphabet {and even make a few of their sounds...again, the dyslexia teacher in me is smiling!}

materials...glue, paint {preferably colors that start with B}, a roller, two containers, beans, a big letter B

someone got the the Sharpie while Mama was gathering other materials...BUSTED!

Painting our B...Blue!

adding some Brown!

LOVES the roller right now!!!

squeezing the glue for the beans

placing them down on the glue and counting, "one, two, tree!"

finished product...Clay does not usually smile like this...the camera caught this goofy grin!

After we finished our letter B, I decided to use some of the leftover beans and create a sorting activity.

Clay found my mini-lesson only half interesting and after three correct sorts did this....

Took a WHOLE handful of red beans and placed them in the "little" container...

And, a WHOLE handful of white beans and placed them in the "big" container then....

promptly told me..."All done, Mama! Follow me to the playroom!"
Heaven help his teachers!!! :)
