Trick or Treat...Little Gym Style

Friday evening, The Little Gym hosted it's very own Halloween party for its members {and their big tag-a-longs :)}. Clay thought it was cool to be going to The Little Gym at night! It was a special treat, but I must admit, a bit overbearing at first. It took us a little while to realize the gym wasn't like we were used to seeing it....wayyyy more crowded than usual with kids of all ages, their siblings, parents, all The Little Gym teachers, and games. Not used to the "free for all" style, but we saw a few friends and warmed up to the idea after a few good minutes on Daddy's hip! :)

soooo tempted to crop me out of this pic...but oh well! to my defense, i'm standing on my tippy toes and trying to balance clay on my hip, get his sweet face in the cutout, while all the while trying not to knock down the display!

warming up by walking on the balance beam...still not letting go of daddy! ;)

rocking in the big mat

going fishing...Clay said, "Dada, it's like our Thomas book!" {Thomas Goes Fishing}

think he's got something

off to put put {Paw Paw, notice the two handed grip?!}

my favorite pic of the night!

waiting so patiently on his dot...clay will always tell me during class, "Mama we gotta wait our turn!"

back for more fishing

a little coaching from daddy on how to catch the big one! :)

his loot!

We spent Halloween night cheering on the Longhorns as they pulled out a BIG win over Oklahoma State! Like I mentioned in the post before, no costume wearing or trick or treating for us this year. Clay did eventually enjoy passing out candy to our trick or treaters, but was pretty hesitant at first. I don't blame him, really...10 to 15 kids at a time all dressed in costume {some pretty darn scary!} can be overwhelming. By the end of the night, though, Clay was tossing M&M packs into buckets and saying, "Trick or Treat...have fun!"

But this pic pretty much sums up his enthusiasm for Halloween '09...

just give me my momo, baba and let me watch my Horns on tv!
