SNOW!
This was Clay's very first time to experience snow...Texas style! That's right, we literally rolled out of bed, put on the warmest clothes we could find (sans hat, gloves & scarf because that's how we roll in Texas...who owns those anyway?!) and rushed outside to enjoy the flurries before they magically disappeared!
Clay was a little hesitant at first to walk out into the flurries, but once he saw Mama do it, he thought he'd get in on the action. His reaction was priceless...he said, "Mama, the snow looks like little white balls of fluff! It's soft and sooooo cold!" I know it's hard to see in this pic, but here is Clay holding his first icy snowball!
BRRRR!
He decided to take a bite! After a few minutes of playing, the flurries slowed down and Clay asked, "Hey Mama, where did all the snow go?!" Then he promptly followed up with, "Let's go back inside...it's freezing out here!" It snowed on and off all afternoon and after about 4 times of running in and out, we decided to enjoy the rest of the snow day bundled up inside! :)

Clay put his Mater tow truck here during our first outing and the next time we came out to play, he was starting to be covered with snow!
Catching snow in our cup to put in the freezer and save for later! ;)
Even though I am a hot weather girl at heart, I must admit, the snow was a pretty magical site and at times it looked like a snow globe outside of the window! I was so excited to share this first with my big guy!
